Inscribing the runes on a body part using finger, nail, oil, body paint

Visualisation of the rune including vibrating it, increasing its size, creating a doorway with the rune to enter into trance world.  Leave the same way you came

Intoning:  singing, chanting, galdr  Look up Freya Aswynn's work

Ingesting:  paint the rune on a piece of food or drink and consume it. can use frosting, finger tracing, food coloring, pressing it into the food, making rune cookies

Craft a set of runes and consecrate them

Group meditations or rituals in the back of her book

Laguz -Water Element

Water has been popping up repeatedly and I just finally noticed it. I have been working with Freya and ancestry work.  It is slow going. Much of that has to do with my closed adoption. I have no information about my biological family and my adopted family was negligent or abusive. Lots of baggage there. I'm not really comfortable working with them. Maybe my grandmother would be open, but not real steady about the rest. I re-read my devotional poem for Freya and noticed the association with water for her. I guess in my mind I made that connection. Not quite sure why personally. Lady with the Cup is one explanation. Connecting her to wyrd, The Norns, and the well of wyrd may be another.  But in my most recent meditation she took me to a sea shore and told me I would be coming back again a few times. I think I need to process something and it might be connected to my ancestor work. Then there was the lucid dreaming I had a few nights ago. Last night my dreams were vivid too...

Iwaz/Eihwaz- Part 1

So I drew this rune a week ago.  I've been sitting on it partly because things got really busy between my businesses, daughter's first day of school, and Kindred Game Night which necessitated a full house cleaning. But I was also drawing an inspirational blank. The only thing that occurred to me was two Laguz runes revolving around each other.  But I don't have any revelations about what that could mean. So this morning while working on my glass art I felt lightheaded and like a finger was pushing into my head right behind my eye.  So I cut my work an hour early, showered, ate a lunch in case it was low blood sugar, and took some migraine meds. I still pulled out my cauldron and candle for offerings, lit the blue candle for Odin and went into meditation using my metronome.  I had a brief and personal conversation that I'm keeping the details of to myself.  And then made a blood offering using the diabetic supplies I keep on hand for such purpose.
